Haworth Hobble Ultra Marathon

Date: 8th March 2025

Details: This challenging 32-mile (51 km) ultramarathon traverses the gritstone moors around Haworth, Todmorden, and Hebden Bridge, featuring a cumulative ascent of approximately 4,400 feet (1,340 meters). The race starts at 8:00 AM from Haworth Primary School. 

Haworth Steampunk Weekend

Dates: Season 1: 3rd–4th May 2025; Season 2: 10th–12th October 2025

Details: Celebrated as the UK's largest steampunk charity event, this weekend offers vibrant displays of steampunk attire, entertainment including dancers and singers, and a variety of shops and market stalls. The event supports Sue Ryder’s Manorlands Hospice. 

Journey into the Wild at YHA Haworth

Dates: 9th–11th May 2025

Wuthering Heights Wander

Date: 18th May 2025

Details: A series of trail races ranging from 5 miles to an ultra-marathon distance of 32 miles, set in the scenic moors surrounding Haworth. Participants receive a bespoke medal and goodies upon completion. 

Earth & Sky by Opera North

Dates: May–October 2025

Details: An immersive sound walk over the moors above Haworth, featuring new music inspired by the landscape and the works of composer Frederick Delius. 

Sue Ryder Bronte Off Road Bike Challenge
